RIDER1991 is a wristwatch of a unique design with a crown embedded into the case. It is devoted to the idea of free movement and inspired by one of the designers' friend impressions from his road trip on an old motorcycle around his country as well as by the atmosphere and aesthetics of the Café Racer motorbike culture.

RIDER1991 name consists of a word and a number by analogy with the approach to the name of famous motorcycles. RIDER is an independent traveller with no limit of age, language or status, seeking adventures in life. 1991 is a year when the watch creators Homeland started its own Free Movement in a History.

Motorcycles clear but gradually smoothed edges, diamond-shaped handles and seats, special shades of color, the combination of brown leather and black brushed metal are the basis of the RIDER1991 watch design. The main emphasis of the watch design is a crown that resembles a motorcycle diamond shape throttle. It is located at the level of 2 hours and recessed into the watches stainless steel case. It is esthetic and allows the wrist to move freely while driving or other daily movements.

Minimalistic design of the dial repeats some detail of a motorcycle speedometer. There are the Arabic numbers 6,7,8,9 symmetrically opposite the minute scale. The used font BDP GeLLY can be found at the numbers of racer motorcycles and cars in 60-70 years.

5 basic models of the RIDER1991 were chosen. RIDER1991 offers the watches with black or white dial and with an aluminum inner ring brushed in silver, black, rose gold. And different color genuine leather and Mesh Band straps are proposed.
Cafe Racer is a special kind of motorcycle and motorbike motion of 1960s in London. Gathered often in pubs and cafes motorcyclists came up with original entertainment – music race. Street racers had to cover a distance of about 2 km from cafe to a certain point and back while the song on the jukebox was playing.

The serial motorcycles were not suitable for such events. So the riders began to improve them - to dismantle all the excess weight and to install fairings for less air resistance. The wheel was changed to clip-on. The elongated narrow fuel tank and a single seat became a distinctive feature of Cafe Racers.

A motorbike has always been more than just a means of transport. It is part of a certain lifestyle, values and rules that bring together very different people moving in one direction with a sense of independence, uniqueness and confidence.

The RIDER1991 is a collaborative project of Ukrainian designers Nazar Malets and Roman Geviuk, the founders of the international design studio GM design group, and watchmakers Andrew Kravchuk and Olga Kuchmeeva, the founders of designer watches project ZAVOD
